  1. The stars have fallen
  2. leaving the sky blank
  3. except for the white moon
  4. that stands like a glowing scar
  5. upon the sky's pristine surface
  6. They're under my skin
  7. those stars so bright
  8. shooting through my veins
  9. twinkling in my blood
  10. The seas rise at their touch
  11. waves towering over the world
  12. washing it all away
  13. creating a sparkling clean
  14. Happiness losing its technicolour
  15. turning black and white
  16. caffeine comes in a syringe
  17. diamonds burn into coal
  18. gold losing its luster
  19. leaving brittle rocks in its wake
  20. Tallest towers tumble
  21. cracking the earth
  22. making their own graves
  23. And soon the stars shall escape
  24. fleeing from the ground
  25. the stars will rise
  26. fled from the world they light.
